The company is owned and operated by owner-operator Jerry Hammann. Inspired at a young age, Jerry began to work on Home Remodels as an “extra-hand” with his best friend in Omaha. After leaving his management position at Sherwin Williams, passions for home design and remodeling led him to start Oread Fine Finishes 18 years ago.
After finishing his time in the Coast Guard, Jerry studied at the University of Kansas. In honor of his Alma Mater, he named his business “Oread” after the hill on which the University of Kansas is built. While “Fine Finishes” represents the different trade specialties that are required for each project.
Jerry loves working closely with clients. His favorite projects are working on Bathrooms and kitchens because those spaces are where we spend the most time and homeowners see the most return on investment in these rooms. He believes that it is important to have a functional space to help us relax, entertain, and spend time with family and friends. He enjoys helping consult with clients with the design throughout the project in product selection, color, and finish coordination.
